Senior Business Development Manager

Net Zero / Decarbonisation – Commercial Real Estate

Central London

We are pleased to present a Senior Business Development / Sales Manager position responsible for selling Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency / Net Zero solutions into the Commercial Real Estate sector in the UK.

The commercial real estate sector is a significant contributor to global carbon emissions, accounting for approximately 40% of all UK greenhouse gas emissions.

We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to join a specialist engineering consultancy based in Central London. The consultancy offers decarbonisation and energy efficiency services to companies that own, operate, or invest in large commercial property portfolios.

About the role:

1. Experience in selling engineering and consultancy services is desirable, but candidates with a strong network and background in Property are likely to succeed. It is important that the candidate has relevant knowledge and a network of key clients within the market.
2. The successful candidate may come from property-related industries, including (but not limited to) facilities management, property management, commercial real estate, sales, or rentals.
3. You will be responsible for building relationships and networking with industry contacts such as Property Asset Managers, Portfolio Managers, Sustainability Managers, Fund Managers, C-Suite executives, and Building/Site Managers who may have an interest or need for energy efficiency and decarbonisation services.
4. Attending relevant networking and marketing events to develop and strengthen relationships with industry stakeholders.
