Express Recruitment are proud to be representing one of the UK’s leading Electrical contracting firms. Due to significant expansion, our client are seeking an experienced and technical Business Development Manager to join their talented team.

In return, our client are offering a competitive starting salary of c£50,000, plus a company car with opportunities to earn additional bonuses and genuine opportunities for career development.

• Implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the company’s customer base and ensure they maintain a stronghold within the market
• Liaise frequently with customers in order to deliver proposals based on maintenance contracts, installation and repair
• Provide a 1 st class aftersales service to ensure the customer is fully satisfied and provide any improvements necessary
• Liaise with clients and propose quotations based on their specifications and ensure the successful closing of sales upon agreeing and finalising terms
• Carry out technical presentations to include a broad range of the employers services and associated products

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in sales within the Electrical / Lightning protection industry
• Excellent management, coaching and leadership skills with proven experience of leading a successful sales team
• Experience of preparing quotations and showcasing confident negotiation skills to customers
• Proven experience of increasing sales figures turnover year on year for businesses within the electrical industry would be a distinct advantage
• Ability to use CRM software packages
• Proficient IT skills across MS Office, Excel, ERP & MRP systems
