The Electricity Settlements Manager ensures British Gas meets its settlement obligations within the domestic electricity market, overseeing processes for compliance with the Balancing and Settlement Code, and verifying energy volume attribution accuracy.
This role involves leading onshore and offshore teams to align data, resolve exceptions, and maintain operational excellence. It offers opportunities to develop technical skills, recover significant costs, and travel overseas to visit offshore teams.
Leadership with knowledge of electricity settlements, preferably in the residential market, with strong industry expertise. Experience managing analyst teams, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Technical knowledge is advantageous but can be developed in this role.
