Job description

Your new company

You will be working for a well-established electrical contractor based in Nottinghamshire that has been in operation for over 25 years with a strong, longstanding team. This organization typically works in the fast-fit out sector, mainly for the commercial market in larger UK cities such as London and Birmingham. The projects they undertake vary in value, with an average project size of around £1.5 million and a project duration of 12 to 20 weeks. Due to their excellent reputation and quality of work, they continue to secure repeat business. They also prioritize looking after their team, which is reflected in high staff retention.

Your new role

You will serve as an electrical project manager, primarily working on commercial projects such as office fit-outs focusing on lighting control systems. You will manage projects from stage 3 design through to completion. Your role involves close collaboration with the CAD department, health and safety team, and procurement. You will typically be supported on-site by a non-working foreperson.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced electrical project manager with a background in similar projects and hold relevant electrical qualifications. Since the company maintains strong relationships with clients, excellent communication skills are essential.
