INDWIN is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Representative for Reading HQ and surrounding areas. The role focuses on ground support and propping solutions, building and managing key client relationships, and driving commercial growth across major infrastructure projects.

You will interpret engineering drawings, prepare quotations, and lead technical discussions with contractors and engineers. A field-based position requiring a full UK driving licence and CRM experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities across ground support and propping solutions.
• Build and grow strategic key account relationships in the Southern region.
• Identify, track and convert major project opportunities from enquiry to delivery.
• Act as primary commercial and technical contact for large projects.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions and technical presentations.
• Provide expert advice on temporary works, shoring and propping applications.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data in the CRM and report progress to stakeholders.
• Represent the business at client meetings, site visits and industry events.

Senior Technical Sales Representative (Ground Support & Propping) - Reading HQ & Surrounding Areas - Excellent Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you an experienced technical sales professional within ground support, propping, temporary works or civil engineering?

Have you successfully developed and managed key accounts within the construction or infrastructure sector?

Can you confidently interpret engineering drawings and provide technical solutions to customers?

Do you have a track record of winning major projects and delivering commercial growth?

If the answers are yes, we are hiring for a Senior Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a leading engineering and construction solutions business.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Proven technical sales experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or related sectors is essential - the selling experience > the industry. If you can sell and want long term stability then apply!


• Experience developing new business whilst managing key customer relationships is essential


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is desirable


• Strong commercial awareness with experience producing quotations, proposals and tenders - eseential


• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills - essential


• Full UK driving licence - essential


• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and account management

Nice To Haves

Day To Day

• Develop and secure new business opportunities across ground support and propping solutions


• Build, maintain and grow strategic key account relationships across the Southern region


• Identify, track and convert major project opportunities from enquiry through to delivery


• Act as the primary commercial and technical contact for large and complex projects


• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions and technical presentations


• Provide expert advice on temporary works, shoring and propping applications


• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully


• Monitor project progress, coordinate stakeholders and proactively resolve issues


• Maintain accurate opportunity and account data within the CRM system


• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and site visits throughout the region

This is a field-based position covering Reading and the surrounding areas, offering the opportunity to work with major contractors, infrastructure projects and key industry stakeholders while playing a pivotal role in future business growth.
