Job summary

Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, is seeking a Business Development Manager for Civils & Construction Materials covering the Midlands. You will sell civil engineering products to engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders in a hybrid/external capacity.

The role targets new business with strong support; a £2m turnover goal is set, with a remuneration package of £40,000–£60,000 plus around £5,000 bonus and potential company

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience in the bundling trade selling direct to contractors, builders & merchants
• Ideally sold to civil engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders
• Manufacturer representative candidates considered

Responsibilities

• Sell a distributed range of civil engineering, below ground, above ground civils & construction products to clients
• Target civil engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders
• Liaise with distributors/merchants for stock as required
• Turnover target: £2m
• Duties include substantial new business development with existing accounts

The role of the Business Development Manager – Civils & Construction Materials will involve:

• Field sales position selling a distributed range of civil engineering, below ground, above ground civils & construction products


• All of your time will be spent selling to civil engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders


• Will liaise with other distributors / merchants for stock as & when required


• Turnover target £2m


• Predominately new business however will have great support and accounts to go after
