Job description

AIS is seeking a Business Development Manager to promote and expand the sales of the company’s products within the Fabric Maintenance Market. This is a remote-based role with travel requirements to specific locations.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in sales within the Fabric Maintenance or Industrial Insulation markets
  • Basic knowledge of Passive Fire Protection systems
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident, proactive, and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
  • Proficiency in clear English communication skills

Duties include:

  • Promoting ContraFlex products to key stakeholders in onshore and offshore Fabric Maintenance and Industrial Contractor sectors
  • Engaging with influencers, designers, buyers, and end users
  • Identifying new markets and potential customers for ContraFlex products
  • Collaborating with the estimating team on tenders
  • Developing sales strategies for groups managing pharmaceutical, food & beverage, oil & gas, and petrochemical plants across the UK
  • Maintaining a customer database on Membrain CRM and managing client relationships
  • Scheduling and executing sales activities and client visits efficiently
  • Using CRM prospecting tools to develop customer communications and forecast potential spend
  • Delivering presentations on AIS products and services
  • Maintaining sales records and preparing reports
  • Monitoring market and competitor activity
  • Tracking product development and introducing new or improved products
  • Sharing project information with internal teams for other product ranges
  • Building internal relationships to ensure smooth project handovers

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus up to 15%
