Business Development Manager
Livingstone, site travel across the Central Belt
40,000 - 45,000 + 30,000 (OTE) + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Training + Progression

This is a great opportunity for a Business Development professional to join a growing main contractor who works on a plethora of different projects, where you will have ample opportunity to progress your career technically, professionally and financially through performance incentives.

Are you a Business Development professional with experience within the construction industry and are looking for a new role? Do you want to join a company that promotes from within, giving you the opportunity to build and manage your own team?

This well established and growing Main Contractor work in mainly within the Commercial and Residential sectors. Working on a variety of projects from new build, refurbishments, maintenance to Commercial and Industrial fit out. They have impressive plans of growth due to consistent high-quality services which has resulted in them having an impressive workbook. As a result, they are looking to add to their dynamic and loyal workforce, majority of which have been with the business for more than 10 years.

In this role you will take on a number of different responsibilities, where you will be based in their office but also required to travel to meet with potential clients. Your main responsibilities within the role will be to explore and secure new avenues of work, where you will be liaising and creating relationships with new clients with the purpose of being put on tender lists. As well as that you will also be liaising with the in house Bid Management team to help identify new opportunities. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will also be taking control of the marketing for the company to again help attract new business.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be someone with previous business development experience within the construction industry who is confident in exploring new avenues of work, who also holds a full driver's license to be able to travel to meetings when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established yet growing expanding main contractor who work on projects across the Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors, where you will be able to take control in the increase of your earnings through the performance incentive.
