Responsibilities
  1. Develop new business opportunities, prospecting potential new customers and visiting current key customers.
  2. Present, sell, and translate MTLs capabilities in laser cutting and pressing.
  3. Work towards targets to help increase the company's profitability.
  4. Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and documented to enable accurate quotations.
  5. Establish and develop strategic relationships with key customer accounts.
  6. Manage your own sales budget within the general engineering sectors.
  7. Provide weekly/monthly sales reports as required.
About You
  • Proven track record in sales, new business development, and account management.
  • Sound engineering knowledge, particularly in laser, press, sheet metal, and fabrication.
  • Full UK driving license with the ability to visit clients, sites, customers, and events nationwide.
  • Represent the company professionally as the face of the business.
  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels.
  • Ability to focus on quality and emphasize its importance to others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Working Hours
  • Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (finish at 15:00 on Friday).
