Job summary

Executive Integrity is seeking a Business Development Manager for marine technology and decarbonisation, based in the North West or London with hybrid work and regular travel. You will own key commercial relationships, build a pipeline from day one, and translate technical emissions expertise into commercial wins for owners and shipyards.

The role offers a base salary with a bonus, real influence, and a mission-led business within a maritime decarbonisation group. Hybrid flexibility is provided.

Qualifications

• An engineer, marine or closely adjacent, who can read a drawing and hold their own on emissions legislation.
• Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a relationship-led market.
• Comfort with long sales cycles and travel across international and domestic routes.

Business Development Manager · Marine Technology & Decarbonisation

Location: North West England or London (hybrid, with regular travel between the two)

The Opportunity

A specialist marine technology business at the centre of the industry's decarbonisation push needs a commercial leader for one of its most technically demanding sales seats. Its previous specialist was headhunted away after building real credibility with owners and shipyards alike, proof of how scarce this skill set is. Seniority will flex around whoever is found.

The Impact You Will Have

• Own commercial relationships across a global gas carrier market, working owners and shipyards to secure a place on maker's lists.
• Step into a business-critical gap left by a departing commercial lead, with room to build pipeline from day one.
• A genuine route to a senior leadership seat, shaped around the calibre of person appointed.
• Turn technical understanding of emissions and gas handling systems into commercial wins.

What Success Looks Like

• An engineer, marine or closely adjacent, who can read a drawing and hold their own on emissions legislation, then sell on that credibility.
• Comfortable running long, complex sales cycles, twelve to twenty four months, across multiple stakeholders.
• Able to win trust on both sides of a sale, owner and yard, in a relationship led market.
• Keen to put engineering experience towards decarbonisation, not another industrial sales seat.
