This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with ~18 months of genuine closing/360 experience who wants a role with strong earning potential, structured training and a clear route into senior sales positions.
This is a 360 business development role.
You won’t simply be handed a pipeline of warm leads. Around 80% of your opportunities will be self-generated, so you'll be responsible for identifying prospects, building relationships, running meetings and ultimately closing new business.
You'll be selling a consultative B2B service to businesses across the UK and Ireland, working with senior decision-makers and helping them identify opportunities around innovation, R&D and government incentives.
The sales environment is fast-paced, with relatively short sales cycles and a strong focus on activity, pipeline generation and results.
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, resilient and genuinely enjoys new business sales.
You'll ideally have:
The commission structure rewards both consistent activity and high-value sales, with uncapped monthly commission, quarterly kicker bonuses and an annual performance-related bonus.
Career progression is a major part of the opportunity.
High-performing BDMs can progress into senior roles within around 12–18 months.
The business has a strong track record of developing people internally, so this is particularly suited to someone who is ambitious and wants to build a long-term sales career.
You'll be joining a well-established, international and growing business with the pace and entrepreneurial feel of a start-up, but the stability of an established organisation.
The business operates across multiple countries and continues to invest in new products, territories and people.
The Manchester office has a sociable and collaborative culture, with regular socials, team activities, run clubs and wider company events.
You'll also receive structured onboarding and ongoing sales training, with significant investment in your professional development.
If you're an ambitious salesperson who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and closing deals, this could be an excellent next step.
