North of England, with an initial focus on the North West
ASR International is partnering with a leading premium interiors brand to appoint a Business Development Manager for the North of England.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to build the brand’s regional presence, develop relationships across the design community and help shape its future growth. It would suit someone who combines commercial drive with an appreciation for premium materials and enjoys working closely with designers, architects and retail partners.
You will develop business through interior designers, architects, landscape designers, contractors and selected trade and retail partners.
The focus is on winning specifications, supporting larger projects and building profitable, lasting relationships. You'll have specialist technical and project support, allowing you to concentrate on business development and customer relationships.
As the region develops, there is scope for your responsibilities to grow and for you to contribute to plans for a future North West base.
Success will be measured through regional profitability, supported by the quality of relationships, specifications and project opportunities developed. The business recognises that specification takes time, with first-year progress focused primarily on building relationships and a strong pipeline.
You will bring experience in business development or specification sales within premium interiors or building materials, alongside a working knowledge of natural stone, bespoke stonework or a closely related material.
Your background could include tiles, stone, premium flooring, high-end kitchens and bathrooms, architectural surfaces or fabrication.
You should be confident presenting to designers and architects, comfortable discussing materials and finishes, and equally at home in a showroom, design studio or fabricator's workshop.
An established network across Cheshire, Manchester and the wider North West would be valuable. You'll also need the organisation and initiative to manage your own territory, alongside a full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
ASR International specialises in Commercial, Operational and Leadership appointments throughout the UK, partnering with manufacturers and distributors across the interiors, building products, KBB and wider construction sectors.
