Job description

Are You Our Next Business Development Manager, Technology?

Edifai was founded three years ago by practitioners with decades of combined experience in digital transformation training. They saw the need for practical AI education that helps people apply generative AI in real work. Since then, we’ve delivered large-scale programmes for organisations including WPP, Publicis, The World Bank, Darktrace, H&M, The Nature Conservancy, and Intersystems (just to name a few).

We’re now growing our work with technology teams, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead it. Our programs help software developers and engineering teams use AI in their daily work, and the people who buy them are CTOs, CIOs, CPOs and engineering leaders. This full-time role sells to that audience. You’ll work leads we pass you, open doors through your own network, and grow the accounts you win, as part of a small commercial team where your impact will be immediate.

Key Info

Full-time (40 hours per week)

3 days per week in a central London office, 2 days remote (though visiting clients is a must)

Key Responsibilities
1. Win and Grow Technology Accounts
  • Work the qualified leads we pass you and move them through the funnel to close
  • Use your own network of CTOs, CIOs, CPOs and engineering leaders to open new conversations
  • Grow the accounts you win into further teams and programs
  • Run discovery with technical buyers, understand where their teams are with AI, and shape tailored proposals with the CEO and delivery team
  • Manage the full sales cycle including proposals, contracts and other deliverables for closing. Ensure all commercial and legal documentation is in place
2. Drive Revenue Growth
  • Own a revenue target and consistently hit monthly sales goals
  • Use HubSpot for lead management and sales forecasting. Accurately manage your forecast pipeline month over month
  • Stay close to how AI is changing software development, so you bring something useful to every client conversation
  • Contribute to prospecting and marketing activity, from calls and meetings to developer events, meetups and conferences
3. Work the Edifai Way
  • Use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini every day to boost efficiency and output across your sales activity
  • Bring ideas and energy, and be as comfortable opening a new account as you are growing an existing one
  • Operate with autonomy, and collaborate closely with the wider team when it matters
Who You Are
  • Experience selling to technical audiences: CTOs, CIOs, CPOs and engineering or product leaders
  • An existing network in that space, and comfortable talking to technical leaders about learning and capability
  • You understand that technology change succeeds or fails on people, and you can make that case to a technical buyer
  • SaaS, developer tools or wider tech sales experience is a strong advantage
  • Results-oriented, hungry and competitive, motivated by hitting targets and the reward that comes with it
  • Keen to work in a startup and happy to do what it takes to win
  • Strong consultative skills: able to listen, understand, and play client needs back with clarity
  • Based in London and willing to work in our central office, with flexibility for remote when needed
  • Experience in L&D, EdTech or AI is useful but not essential
The Offer
  • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission
  • Reporting line: CEO
  • Join a team that’s shaping the future of AI education, with a chance to win big and grow with the company

If you’re motivated by the chance to shape growth in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
