Principal Recruitment Consultant - Apprenticeships and Employability

Business Development Manager – Apprenticeships

Location: Fully Remote (UK-Based)

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for apprenticeships and skills training? Do you thrive in a new business sales environment, building relationships and securing partnerships?

We’re working with a leading training provider that delivers high-quality apprenticeship programs across various sectors. They’re looking for a driven and results-focused BDM to join their team and help grow their employer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with employers, promoting apprenticeship programs
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of employer partnerships
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business
  • Work closely with internal teams to match employer needs with apprenticeship solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Stay up to date with apprenticeship funding, policy changes, and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in apprenticeship sales or training provider business development
  • Strong track record of winning new business and building employer relationships
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding, levy, and government initiatives
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working remotely

Competitive salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + commission
