Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems in the UK is seeking a Field-based Business Development Manager to win new installations and service/maintenance contracts across London and the South East.

You will build relationships with new and existing clients, manage presale to handover, forecast sales and maintain a sustainable pipeline, with a competitive package including incentives and a car allowance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to win new business for system installations/service/maintenance.
• Experience building relationships with clients requiring system servicing.
• Ability to forecast sales and manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth and market development, we are now seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager - with fire and security experience to be field based covering London and the South East.

Job Purpose

• To win new opportunities for system Installations/service/maintenance contracts
• To develop relationships with new clients with system service/maintenance requirements.
• To develop relationships with existing clients with system service/maintenance requirements.
• To convert prospects into clients

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the generation of new business from new and existing clients for system servicing and maintenance/installations
• Responsible for managing the relationship with the client during the presale phase thought to completion of the sale and hand over
• Account Management of exisiting Canary Wharf contracts
• To manage a sustainable sales pipeline
• To negotiate with new clients, regarding cost and delivery
• To effectively forecast sales based on market analysis and to deliver against forecast

Knowledge Experience and Skills

• Demonstrable experience of developing new business specifically in the system service and maintenance field, preferably within the Fire and Security systems industry.
• Experience of preparing appropriate documentation for client consideration.
• Experience of organising your own time to maximise return.
• Skilled in analysing data to be able to manage your area effectively and to present plans etc to senior colleagues.
• Ability to undertake site surveys when required
