Account Manager/ Sales

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent, commutable from Croydon, Sevenoaks, Westerham, Kent

Salary: c. £45,000 (Permanent)

Are you a proactive sales professional with a talent for building lasting customer relationships and driving revenue growth? We're seeking a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment.

About The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll oversee key accounts, ensure outstanding service, and develop new business within established and newly acquired customers. Working closely with engineering, product management, finance, and marketing teams, you'll manage quotes, monitor project progress, and drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives
  • Strengthen existing accounts while identifying and securing new opportunities
  • Drive customer engagement to position the company as a preferred supplier
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Conduct customer visits, host meetings, and attend industry events
  • Develop technical knowledge of product offerings and company capabilities
  • Enhance expertise in MRP processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Optimise profitability through strategic pricing and financial stewardship
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure commercially viable solutions
  • Champion a customer-first approach, advocating client needs across the business
Profile & Skills

  • Ability to coordinate internal teams to achieve customer objectives

Experience Required
  • Background in sales or technical sales within IT manufacturing, technology solutions, IT systems, R&D, IT sales, PC manufacturing, medical equipment, or similar
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to grow customer accounts and drive increased revenue
  • Understanding of displays, systems, and embedded technology (or eagerness to learn)
  • CRM experience
