We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join an attractive medical supply business as a Business Development Manager working on a remote / field sales basis! You will be identifying and developing relationships, raising market awareness of the brand and its offerings, which include Textiles, Consumables, and Medical Devices. You will manage existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate and close deals.


Important Bits

  • Salary: Up to £38,000 + Commission (£45K-50K OTE Uncapped) + Company Car with Fuel Card
  • Location: Remote (preferably around Kent) with travel across the South East of England
  • Role Type: Permanent / Full Time
  • Benefits: 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days for loyalty, a generous yearly bonus paid every January, and 5% company pension contributions

The Role

You will adopt a consultative approach to understand client requirements, produce quotations, upsell, and manage competitive tendering. Working with regional sales coordinators, you will receive qualified leads and pre-booked appointments, which you will pursue. You will also proactively develop leads and manage existing accounts.


Travel will involve meeting clients, pitching services and products, understanding their motivations, upselling, and closing deals. Regular service reviews and check-ins are also part of the role. Product specifications are often technical, so being a quick learner is essential. A background in scientific fields is advantageous but not necessary.


The head office is based in Lincolnshire, and travel there for final interviews, quarterly meetings, and initial training (approximately 3 months) is required. All travel and accommodation expenses are reimbursed.
