The role of the Business Development Manager - National

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our client's highly performing and ambitious sales team, with the freedom to target potential customers nationally.

Your day-to-day will involve booking and attending face-to-face meetings with potential new customers, selling a range of internal and external perimeter security installations such as vehicle/security barriers, road blockers, garage doors, bollards, gates, turnstiles, and fencing.

You will need to be an experienced new business hunter with the ability to split your time between seeking out new opportunities, attending site surveys and client meetings, preparing quotations, and closing business.

Demonstrating excellent skills in identifying potential opportunities, reaching decision-makers, rapport building, listening, and organizational skills is essential, along with a technical understanding of the products to credibly discuss solutions with clients.

Operating from home, you will need to be highly organized, self-motivated, and efficient in your journey planning.

You will primarily target end-users across various sectors and also reach out to potential clients within Facilities Management and Security Provision sectors.

With a broad portfolio of solutions, you will present suitable options to clients and gather all necessary details to recommend the most appropriate solutions. While some incoming inquiries will be followed up, most opportunities will come from proactive outreach.

The Person
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a field-based sales role.
  • Must have prior experience selling perimeter security solutions or similar.
  • Experience conducting site surveys and preparing quotations.
  • Ambitious, motivated, driven, and highly organized.
The Package
  • £45-60k basic salary (DOE) + £12k OTE (uncapped potential to earn more)

Location
