LJ Recruitment is looking for a Business Development Manager for the Derby area. You’ll be out in the field meeting businesses, building your own customer portfolio, and driving your earnings through a realistic commission structure and OTE. A hybrid role with a company car is offered, alongside pension and bonus opportunities.

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing field sales team. If you're someone who enjoys getting out from behind a desk, building relationships, and controlling your own earnings, this could be the perfect opportunity.

No two days are the same. You'll be out in the field meeting businesses, generating new opportunities, and building your own customer portfolio across the Derby region.

What you'll be doing

• Winning new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and face-to-face visits
• Building and managing your own sales pipeline

• Using our CRM system to manage leads and track activity
• Working alongside a supportive sales team that wants to see you succeed
