RJA-Consulting in Carlisle is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow premium salon business across the North West. You will lead the sales journey, opening doors with salon owners and developing new and existing accounts.

This field-based role offers autonomy, a lucrative commission structure and a toolkit of perks, including car allowance, phone, iPad and more. Year 1 OTE £50,000–£55,000.

Qualifications

• You must have sales experience with a product – beauty, hair, luxury gifts or consumer products are all acceptable.
• You should be proactive in developing new business and managing existing accounts.
• Demonstrate ability to open doors and hit targets, with passion for working with salon owners.
• Be organized and comfortable collaborating with salon managers and owners.

• Develop premium salon businesses in the North West region, for new and existing accounts.
• Research the area and prospect for new customers.
• Work with accounts to drive sales through joint business plans, marketing, events and education.
• Plan, implement and action an effective Journey Plan.
• Process orders and administration, and update business information regularly.

On a day-to-day basis, as a Business Development Manager you will:

• Develop premium salon businesses in the North West region, both new and existing accounts.
• Research the area and prospect for new customers.
• Work in partnership with accounts to drive their sales, through joint business plans, plus creating great marketing, events and education plans.
• Plan, implement and action an effective Journey Plan.
• Process all orders, and administration, plus update all required business information on a regular basis as required.

To be successful in this position

• You must have sales experience with a product, be that beauty, hair, luxury gifts or consumer products.. we are open to the product type. You could come from a salon background too!
• You will have a proactive attitude for developing new business and existing accounts, so if you are energized by owning your own market, you will be highly rewarded.
• You need to be passionate about working with salon owners and be able to demonstrate your ability to open doors and hit targets.
• Be organised and enjoys working with salon managers and owners.
