Job summary

Prospex Recruitment is representing a well-established Signage and Display Organisation for a Business Development Manager based in Aylesford, Kent. The role focuses on generating new business, scheduling client meetings, and presenting our client’s services, with a 12-month contract and potential for permanent placement.

The position requires print/ signage experience, strong sales skills, and a proven ability to exceed targets while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in print industry (large format graphics, signage) or related sectors.
• Proven sales track record and overachieving targets.
• Excellent new business hunting ability with strong account management.
• Solid knowledge of large format print, graphics and signage.
• Organised and professional with a customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Business Development Manager – Signage

Location: Aylesford, Kent

Salary: £55,000 + Bonus

12-month contract with possibility of permanent position.

Company: A well-established Signage and Display Organisation.

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to generate and establish new business.

The role of the Business Development Manager (BDM):

• Actively generate new business through various platforms such as cold calling, warm leads, networking, social media etc.
• Booking and attending appointments with prospective clients
• Present our clients services and solutions in a professional manner (via online videoing or face to face meetings.
• Manage your day-to-day diary, pipeline and be accountable for forecasting monthly figures
• The Business Development Manager will also be a great relationship builder

Requirements:

• Experience in the print industry working at a similar company i.e. large format graphics, signage etc. Dealing with clients in the construction or retail industry would also be beneficial.
• Sales experience in a similar position
• Proven experience overachieving targets
• You must be a great new business hunter as well as having excellent account management skills
• To possess a second-to-none knowledge of large format print, graphics and signage
• Organised and professional
• Customer-focused attitude
• A Full UK driving license
