The role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and forging strategic partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

·Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential areas for business expansion, including new markets, industries, or customer segments.

·Lead Generation: Generating leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms.

·Relationship Building: Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.

·Proposal Development: Collaborating with internal teams to create compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients or partners.

·Negotiation and Closing Deals: Leading negotiations and closing deals with clients or partners, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with the company's objectives.

·Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive sustainable growth.

·Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilising CRM systems to track interactions with clients, manage leads, and forecast sales pipelines.

·Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and finance to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

·Performance Measurement: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

·Overall, the role of a Business Development Manager is dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a combination of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and a results-driven mindset to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

·3 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

·Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

·Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to develop and execute effective business development plans aligned with company objectives.

·Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.

·Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
