Business Development / Field Sales Executive

Location: The successful candidate will ideally be based in Central Scotland and will work remotely visiting client sites. The company is based in Edinburgh EH14 1NL.
Salary: Competitive basic salary plus commission.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

At First Display, we’re looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development / Field Sales Executive to help grow our client base and promote our high-impact display and exhibition solutions across Scotland and beyond. Whether you’re based in Edinburgh or prefer to work remotely, this role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work with a team that values initiative and results.

Responsibilities
  1. Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  2. Building strong relationships with clients in a range of industries
  3. Meeting with prospects in person and virtually
  4. Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  5. Collaborating with our creative and production teams to deliver outstanding solutions
Qualifications
  1. Proven sales experience, ideally in field sales or business development
  2. Experience in large format print and associated product/print is preferred
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  4. Confidence working independently and managing your own pipeline
  5. A proactive, target-driven mindset
  6. Based in or around Edinburgh, or happy to travel for face-to-face meetings when needed
