Job summary

South Hampshire College Group is seeking a Business Development and Bids Manager to lead the group’s business development team and drive revenue growth across multiple programmes.

You will manage key accounts, monitor performance against KPIs, and collaborate with cross-group partners to bid for employer opportunities while ensuring compliant enrolments and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience managing a team and achieving targets.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of the business development team across the group in line with KPIs.
• Recruit and induct new team members for vacancies as required.
• Lead and monitor sales activity across the business development team against annual targets.

Duties

• Operational management of the business development team, cross group, in line with agreed KPIs
• Timely recruitment and induction of new starts to vacant team positions as required
• Active management of sales activity across business development team in line with agreed annual targets
• Development of business development team in line with cross group offering, enabling them to market the college group offer in full to employer partners
• Monitor and report on business development activity, escalating concerns as appropriate
• Manage a caseload of key accounts, in line with derived business sectors cross group
• Monitor and report on DAS activity and D locks, ensuring collaboration across teams to ensure timely resolutions
• Ensure team deliver compliant enrolment to all programmes in the provision in line with defined processes
• Develop, and maintain strong business relationships and outstanding customer service across our business development services
• Actively support and develop the provision in line with strategic needs, working closely with cross curricular partners to promote opportunities effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent)
