We are a leading seafood wholesaler based in London/Watford , supplying high-quality fresh and frozen seafood to restaurants, retailers, and food service businesses in London and surrounding areas. With a reputation for excellence and sustainability, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to expand our client base and grow our market presence.

Role Overview:

As a Business Developer, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance our brand and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the food service, and hospitality sectors.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the seafood industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the food or seafood industry.
  • Strong network within the food service or retail sectors in London.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive market.
  • Knowledge of the seafood industry and its trends is a strong advantage.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and innovation.

What We Offer:

  • £32,000 per year plus a generous commission structure with an OTE of £55,000 (Year 1)
