Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and our project and service teams to ensure the successful implementation of the UMAX solution, focusing on business needs and market regulations. The role involves providing business and market guidance, supporting mediation decisions, and translating customer requirements into functional specifications.

The role is based in Ghent, UK, or EIR, and requires experience in the Irish market (ROI and NIE). ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our cloud-based software for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with market experience in Ireland, you will:

1. Serve as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
2. Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into requirements.
3. Participate in workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
4. Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
5. Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution to go to market.
6. Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
7. Participate in project progress meetings and identify risks proactively.
8. Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients.
9. Upskill with industry best practices and understand the energy market in Ireland.
10. Continuously develop knowledge within the Utility market, especially in Ireland (ROI & NIE), and share knowledge with colleagues.

What you bring:

1. Strong analytical skills (Master’s degree or equivalent experience).
2. In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
3. At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant in complex ERP/CRM projects.
4. Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
5. Skills in Business Process Management.
6. Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
8. A dynamic team player with problem-solving skills.
9. Hands-on, proactive, quality-driven.
10. Customer-oriented with adaptability to fast-changing environments.
