Job summary

International Bank in Manchester is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager - Business Banking to join the team. The role focuses on acquiring, managing and growing SME relationships, driving portfolio growth and profitability with a comprehensive range of banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Banking/SME Banking or Relationship Management.
• Proven track record in customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
• Strong understanding of SME/business banking products and solutions.
• Experience with lending/credit and financial assessment.
• Good knowledge of Trade Finance (LCs, BGs, SBLCs, Documentary Collections).
• Knowledge of FX and Treasury products is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage a portfolio of Business Banking/SME customers across the assigned market.
• Identify and acquire new business customers, including exporters, importers and high-value local businesses.
• Drive business across Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Term Deposits, FX, Treasury and Remittance solutions.
• Develop opportunities across Trade Finance, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, SBLCs and Documentary Collections.
• Identify lending opportunities and generate referrals for commercial lending and other credit solutions.
• Manage existing relationships and drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for facility documentation and execution.
