Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Business Support Analyst for the Business Banking team, based at our Glasgow office. You’ll coordinate recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and business operations, delivering an excellent colleague experience while driving efficiency.

You’ll produce MI and performance data, support change initiatives, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to improve processes and outcomes. Hybrid working is available with in-office collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a business support, operations, recruitment, project coordination, or similar analytical support role.
• Proven experience producing and interpreting management information (MI), reports, or business performance data.
• Experience supporting change initiatives, projects, process improvements, or continuous improvement activities.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and ensuring delivery to agreed timescales.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a positive colleague experience.
• Produce recruitment, headcount, and performance reporting to support workforce planning and business objectives.
• Coordinate a range of business and people-related initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide strong MI and data insights to inform decision-making and identify trends.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Business Banking and support functions to enable collaboration and delivery of priorities.
