Job summary

Keighley College is seeking an Apprenticeship Assessor/Teacher - Business to join our Apprenticeship team, delivering coaching, teaching and assessment across Business apprenticeships for Keighley and Harrogate Colleges. You will manage a caseload and build strong employer relationships to ensure positive learner outcomes.

• Experience as an Assessor, Skills Coach, Trainer or Teacher is welcome.
• Willingness to gain teaching or assessor qualifications.
• Experience with apprenticeship standards and employer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Business apprentices across Keighley College and Harrogate College, from enrolment through to completion.
• Deliver high-quality coaching, mentoring, assessment and progress reviews to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with employers to ensure programmes meet learner and business needs.
• Conduct regular workplace reviews and monitor progress to support timely achievement.
• Provide constructive feedback and targeted support to overcome barriers.
• Maintain accurate learner records and ensure documentation complies with funding requirements.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to deliver an outstanding learner and employer experience.
• Promote safeguarding, equality and health and safety at all times.
• Support quality improvement activities and apprenticeship performance targets.
• Keep up to date with changes to apprenticeship standards and assessment requirements.
