Join Yeovil College as a Business Assessor Programme Manager and play a key role in developing the next generation of business professionals. You’ll bring your industry knowledge, coaching skills, and passion for apprenticeships to help learners build the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to succeed. You’ll manage a caseload of around 55-75 apprentices, delivering high-quality on- and off-the-job training, coaching, assessment, and support from enrolment through to Gateway and End Point Assessment.
Working closely with apprentices, employers, and colleagues, you’ll create structured learning plans, set and monitor milestones, carry out regular progress reviews, and ensure the required off-the-job training, Functional Skills, and qualifications are completed and accurately recorded. You’ll use Smart Assessor to track progress and evidence achievement, ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and awarding organisation requirements, and identify and overcome barriers to progress.
You’ll also contribute to the development of apprenticeship standards and learner journeys, support recruitment and curriculum planning, participate in quality assurance and standardisation, and work collaboratively across the College to deliver an outstanding apprentice experience.
