Job description

We are currently seeking a self-motivated research analyst to join our growing team. In your role as a Business Analyst, you will work with team members on topics of wide variety and significance to our pharma clients working at global headquarters. You will be expected to assist with the smooth running of current projects, contact external sources such as industry stakeholders and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through telephone research, and attend international medical congresses. As you transition from one project to the next, you will need to quickly familiarize yourself with new therapy areas.

Overall scope of role:

Integral and key member of the client engagement team, committed to developing and delivering actionable project outcomes to meet our global clients' objectives. Working proactively and collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of multiple projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Conduct primary and secondary research using appropriate sources.
  2. Analyze and interpret research findings to generate insights aligned with the brief and client objectives.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop diverse perspectives and substantive insights.
  4. Manage subcontractors and oversee project work streams.
  5. Create and present accurate, insightful, impactful, and persuasive reports and presentations to clients.
  6. Maintain project timetables, plans, quality control practices, and procedures to support deliverables.

Key Skills/Personal Qualities:

Technical Skills:

  • PharmD/PhD in a life science subject from a leading university, and/or 1-2 years of relevant experience in biopharma, healthcare, or consulting.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize analysis into processes and frameworks.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Foreign language skills are preferred.
