Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to provide dedicated BA capability across the SAP Upgrade Programme, shaping programme scope and informing procurement to guide delivery.

Working alongside SAP functional consultants and data/technical leads, you will elicit and consolidate requirements across multiple workstreams, ensuring a coherent baseline for SI engagement in a hybrid, fixed‑term role.

Qualifications

• Strong BA fundamentals across business, data and technology boundaries.
• Experience defining data migration, reporting and data quality requirements.
• Ability to consolidate fragmented requirements into a coherent set.

Responsibilities

• Review existing functional requirements across data, reporting, migration and integration.
• Elicit, challenge and consolidate requirements with cross‑functional leads.
• Plan and facilitate targeted conversations/workshops to fill gaps.
• Develop and consolidate data migration and reporting requirements.
• Maintain a traceable requirements baseline for procurement and SI engagement.
