Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking an SAP Business Analyst to join the IT SAP team and drive business change across Finance, HR, Procurement and Capital Delivery. You will lead analysis activities, translate needs into requirements, and shape AS-IS and TO-BE models.

Based in Bradford with a future Leeds base, this permanent role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary (£48,000-£60,000), a £1,000 annual incentive, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health plans and savings

Qualifications

Experience in data modelling and process mapping across SAP-enabled systems.
Ability to elicit, analyse, validate, document, and trace requirements.
Experience with stakeholder workshops, interviews, and UAT.
Knowledge of SAP technologies (e.g. S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis across multiple change initiatives with clear requirements specs.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements, data models, and interface designs.
Apply requirements engineering techniques with elicitation, validation, and traceability.
Gather requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and collaborative sessions.
Create AS-IS and TO-BE process models and perform gap analyses.
Build relationships with stakeholders and manage communications.
Support UAT and ensure solutions meet agreed business needs.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose SAP solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and measurable business value.
Ensure solutions meet operational and strategic requirements.
