Standard Life plc in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join the Pensions & Savings Change Hub on Project Skye. You will shape requirements, manage scope and ensure successful delivery across programmes with third‑party suppliers.

In this high‑profile transformation, you will elicit and analyse requirements, maintain traceability and support solution development, testing and change readiness to deliver lasting business value.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering business analysis within large-scale integration, migration or business transformation programmes.
• Knowledge across Standard Life products, processes, and systems.
• Experience of regulatory change and working with third parties would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clarify, challenge and shape business needs to maximise business value and ensure requirements support agreed integration outcomes.
• Capture, analyse and document business requirements in a clear and structured manner, ensuring a shared understanding across stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Define and manage end-to-end scope for project workstreams, supporting governance and control of changes.
• Maintain traceability of requirements from definition to solution deployment and handover to BAU.
• Support solution development activities by engaging stakeholders and shaping validated solutions.
• Conduct business impact assessments to understand effects of change across processes and systems.
• Coordinate collaboration across business, technology and third-party teams to align with objectives and design principles.
• Analyse change requests, risks, issues and dependencies with clear recommendations.
• Support testing and UAT to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Drive business readiness, implementation planning and post-implementation support to embed changes.
• Produce high-quality analysis artefacts and apply appropriate techniques.

Description Of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Business Analyst to join the Pensions & Savings Change team. As part of this high-profile strategic transformation programme, you will work across multiple business areas, programmes and third-party suppliers to shape and challenge business thinking, define and manage requirements, assess business impacts, and ensure solutions deliver the intended business and strategic outcomes. Operating within a complex and evolving environment, you will apply a range of analysis techniques to bring clarity to ambiguity, support informed decision-making, and drive successful delivery across multiple workstreams. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, influence key decisions through insight-led analysis, and help drive consensus across diverse business and technology teams. You will be responsible for defining and managing scope, eliciting and analysing requirements, assessing impacts across people, processes, systems and operating models, and maintaining clear traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role will also play a key part in supporting solution development, testing, business readiness, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations, ensuring change is effectively embedded and delivers lasting business value. Given the scale, complexity and strategic importance of Project Skye, this opportunity is best suited to a highly capable Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering within large-scale business and operational transformation programmes and who is comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration across business, technology and third-party teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives, customer outcomes and agreed design principles.
• Analyse change requests, risks, issues and dependencies, providing clear recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• Support testing and UAT activities to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and meet agreed business requirements.
• Drive business readiness, implementation planning and post-implementation support activities to help ensure changes are successfully embedded and adopted.
• Produce high-quality analysis artefacts and apply appropriate analysis techniques to support successful programme delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience delivering business analysis within large-scale integration, migration or business transformation programmes.
• Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent (e.g. BCS Diploma, IIBA Certifications)
• Knowledge across Standard Life products, processes, and systems
• Experience of regulatory change and working with third parties would be beneficial
