Job summary

Hopwood Hall College is seeking an Apprenticeship administrator to provide a comprehensive support function. The role includes sign-up paperwork, functional skills management, end point assessment planning, and accurate data input, working within the Asset department at Middleton.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service, organising inductions, and maintaining learner management systems such as Maytas, while ensuring compliance with funding rules and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a minimum of level three qualification.
  • Minimum of level two English and maths qualifications.
  • Desirable IT and customer service qualifications are noted.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and administrative support for the Apprenticeship team.
  • Ensure Apprenticeships Service quality meets customer needs and ESFA compliance.
  • Organise apprenticeship inductions with Recruitment & Compliance Officers to meet funding rules.
  • Develop understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and Assessment Organisations.
  • Process apprenticeship sign-up paperwork and store digitally.
  • Maintain data accuracy and support recruitment in vacancy posting.

Job description

To work flexibly to provide a comprehensive Apprenticeship administrative function for theCollege that will include apprenticeship sign-up paperwork, functional skills management, end point assessment planning, and data input.

Compensation: £15,016 - £23,857 / year

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver a high standard of customer service and administrative support for the Apprenticeship team
  • To ensure that the Apprenticeships Service is of a high quality and fully meets the needs of the customers
  • To organise and plan apprenticeship inductions with the Recruitment & Compliance Officers to meet ESFA compliance in accordance with the funding rules#
  • To develop and maintain a high degree of understanding of the Apprenticeship Standards and Assessment Organisations
  • To ensure that apprenticeship sign-up paperwork is processed correctly and safely stored digitally
  • To work alongside the administration team and support the Recruitment & Compliance Officers in developing and maintaining high levels of data accuracy, customer service and responsiveness through all aspects of Apprenticeship programme, including Functional Skills processes
  • To support the Recruitment and Compliance Officers in their vacancy posting and recruitment of candidates
  • To develop and maintain a high degree of understanding of the Apprentice funding methodology to contribute to constantly improving individual and team performance
  • To develop and enhance skills and knowledge of the apprenticeship tracking and to maintain our learner management system (Maytas) and other associated software applications to deliver a consistently high level of data accuracy/validity (assessment organisations (AO), Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS)
  • To provide administrative support to the Data & Compliance Manager, Apprenticeship Managers and Director of Apprenticeships
  • To ensure that College standards are worked to and maintained
  • Ensure continuous development and improvement of personal professional knowledge
  • Any other duties of a similar level of responsibility may be required..

Qualifications
  • Educated to a minimum of level three qualification
  • Minimum of level two English and maths qualifications
