Company Overview:
With extensive experience in the plastic moulding industry, the company offers innovative solutions across a broad spectrum of sectors, including automotive, agriculture, and construction. Specializing in low volume, thermoplastic injection moulding, painting and assembly, they deliver components that combine performance with cost-efficiency. The company provides full tool manufacturing, assembly, and finishing services, with a strong focus on quality and precision. Equipped with multiple facilities, they are well-positioned to manage large-scale production, from initial design through to final delivery.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, travel across the country and build relationships with new clients in a fast-paced and competitive market. You will play a key role in shaping the company’s sales strategy, achieving critical targets, and ensuring our client stays ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business development and foster long-lasting client relationships across the UK
Take full ownership of your diary, strategically planning and conducting visits to potential clients
Execute and support the company’s strategic sales plan, consistently meeting targets and expanding the client base
Provide timely, accurate visit reports and updates to ensure continuous growth and performance
Collaborate with the Head of Sales to ensure all quotes align with company costing procedures
Identify new business opportunities that complement the company’s design and manufacturing capabilities
Manage and grow key accounts as directed, ensuring excellent service and retention
Contribute to the creation and execution of a marketing strategy to support business growth and financial targets
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in business development and comfortable identifying & developing new commercial opportunities.
An understanding of polymers and injection moulding processes would be ideal.
Experience working with industries such as automotive, construction, agriculture, supply chain as examples
Expertise in post-moulding operations, including painting and assembly highly advantageous
Ability to prepare detailed, costed quotes in line with company policies
Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools
A motivated, ambitious individual eager to take the next step in your career
Desirable Qualifications:
Background in technical sales or business development within the plastic moulding industry
Ideally educated to HND level or equivalent
Experience in account planning, development, and execution
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to translate sales strategies into action
