Job summary

AB Solution Recruitment is seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic / Bus Mechanic to join our client's maintenance team in Manchester. The role covers inspection, servicing and repair of buses to keep services safe and reliable.

Candidates should have strong mechanical knowledge, fault-finding skills and experience with passenger service vehicles. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential depending on the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as PSV/Bus/HGV mechanic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing on buses/coaches.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Inspect engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension and steering.
• Complete maintenance records and job sheets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
