Job summary

ITSS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a capable PSV Mechanic in Barton-le-Clay to join a busy workshop. The role involves servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on a fleet of buses/coaches, with responsibilities including MOT preparation and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PSV/bus or HGV maintenance, be able to identify issues and follow maintenance procedures while working safely and efficiently in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Servicing, inspections and fault finding on buses/coaches/HGVs.
• Preparing vehicles for MOTs and maintaining maintenance docs.
• Follow safety standards and DVSA requirements.
• Ability to plan workload and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs as needed.
• Assist with MOT preparation and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Support workshop operations and communicate with drivers about issues.
