Job summary

Arriva TrainCare is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver at our Luton depot to launch your bus driving career. You’ll train to obtain your PCV licence through the Arriva Training School, with paid training and support from a mentor. The role focuses on safe, friendly passenger service in the community.

Shifts are rotating, with early mornings and late evenings, and overtime opportunities. The company emphasizes progression into driver roles and staff benefits that support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on local routes and ensure safe, reliable service.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
• Work rotating shifts with early mornings and late evenings.
• Complete PCV licence training through Arriva Training School.
