Job summary

Evri Group in Eastleigh is seeking a Bulk Driver to join our UK fleet. You will operate Volvo lorries, perform loading/unloading, manage routes, scan consignments and keep vehicles in good condition. This permanent role offers a 45-hour week, with shifts Monday–Friday starting at 7/8 am.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence with DCPC training and a solid knowledge of road transport laws. We offer 28 days leave, plus flexible benefits and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 driving licence.
• Completed DCPC training hours or actively working toward them.
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport laws and safe road use.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver cargo to sites, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Daily vehicle inspection and defect reporting.
• Load and unload goods as required or as site support provides.
• Scan consignments and operate pallet truck as part of duties.
• Plan and manage routes with 4–6 stops per shift.

Position: Bulk Driver

Location: Eastleigh Site, Unit B3, Omega Enterprise Park, Electron Way, Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Contract: Permanent – 45 hours per week

Salary: £35,942

Shift: Monday–Friday, 9‑hour shifts starting at 7/8 am, 45‑hour working week

What You’ll Do

You will operate the company fleet of Volvo lorries, all less than four years old, ensuring safe and compliant driving, loading and unloading of goods, managing routes, scanning consignments, driving pallet trucks where required, and keeping vehicle and trailer in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver cargo, ensuring timely arrival of cages, pallets, freight, stillages, and yokes.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and complete a defect report if necessary.
• Load and unload goods when required, or follow instructions for sites that provide assistance.
• Scan consignments and use pallet truck as part of daily duties.
• Plan and manage own routes within the expected 4–6 stops per shift.
