Job summary

Evri in Preston is seeking a Bulk Driver to join our UK delivery network. You will drive a Volvo truck from our modern fleet, with routes planned to fit a 45-hour week and shifts that typically start around 7–8am.

The role emphasizes safe driving, inspecting vehicles daily, loading or unloading as required, and punctual delivery to customers. A Class 1 licence and ongoing DCPC training are essential, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

Shift:Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm ( with includes a daily 60 mins unpaid meal relief = 45 hrs paid per week ( 9 hrs paid per day)

What You’ll Do:

You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old.They’rea joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leatherseatsand many more optional extras to make sureyou’recomfortable.

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance whereyou’llbe driving, taking the stress out of your day.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Wedon’tmicromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, sothere’splenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - butyou’llstill be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift.
• You’llmake sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others,you’llneed to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
• You’llbe responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

• Class 1 Driving licence
