Job summary

Evri Group in Oxford is seeking a Bulk Driver to join the UK’s premier parcel delivery team. You will operate a modern Volvo, complete daily vehicle checks and deliver cages, pallets and freight to customers across the Oxford area and beyond.

The role offers a permanent contract, with a 45-hour week and early starts (7/8am). A Class 1 licence and DCPC training are essential, with a strong emphasis on safe driving and compliance with road transport laws.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence held and valid.
• Completed DCPC training hours or actively working towards them.
• Good knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our fleet of Volvo vehicles, modern and well equipped.
• Work a 45-hour week with 9-hour shifts starting early mornings.
• Deliver cages, pallets and freight to customers on time and load/unload as needed.
• Inspect vehicle daily and file a defect report if necessary.

Shift: Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm

What you’ll do

• Drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old, equipped with fridges, leather seats, and many optional extras.
• Work 45-hour weeks with 9-hour shifts that typically start at 7/8am. Shift schedules are pre‑planned.
• Deliver cages, pallets, freight, stillages and Yorks to customers on time. Load or unload goods as required and scan consignments; use pallet trucks when needed.
• Inspect your vehicle and trailer daily and complete a defect report if necessary.
