Job summary

Templer HomeBuild invites a competent Building Surveyor to join our Building Safety and Technical team in Newton Abbot. You will carry out technical surveys, diagnose defects and prepare specifications, managing works through to completion.

You will work with colleagues, contractors and residents, using building pathology knowledge and strong communication to deliver compliant, well-maintained homes. A relevant qualification is required with the option to progress towards MRICS via our APC

Qualifications

• Building surveying experience in residential housing or similar environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out property surveys, inspections and risk assessments across housing stock.
• Diagnosing building defects including damp, mould and structural issues.
• Preparing reports, specifications and schedules of work.
