Job summary

Warwick District Council is seeking a Building Surveyor (Career Grade) – Stock Condition to join the Housing Assets team. The role involves surveys of building stock, defect inspections and planning maintenance projects across social housing assets in Warwickshire.

Successful candidates will manage works, supervise contractors and ensure safe, within-budget delivery, while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• A relevant built-environment qualification or suitable experience in a relevant field.
• Experience of undertaking building surveys and managing the resulting works.
• Knowledge of relevant construction health and safety requirements.
