Stonewater is recruiting a Building Surveyor (Homes Business Partner) to join our Damp and Mould team on a fixed-term contract until May 2027. You will inspect for damp, mould and disrepair, diagnose causes, and coordinate works, with travel across the South East and to national meetings as required.

The role requires knowledge of building pathology, Decent Homes standards, and the ability to record detailed information accurately. A valid Right to Work document is essential.

Formación

• Education to minimum HNC level or equivalent in construction, housing, management or property.
• Knowledge of building pathology and ability to diagnose damp and mould causes.
• Proven experience delivering a maintenance service.
• Good understanding of Decent Homes requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of building components, defects, contract law, regulations and housing law.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous recording of information.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out damp, mould and disrepair inspections, virtually and in person.
• Diagnose causes of damp/mould and arrange required works.
• Track cases to completion and liaise with Homes and Partnering Contractors.
• Monitor HHSRS actions to ensure safety of homes.
