Stonewater is seeking a Building Surveyor (Homes Business Partner) to join our Damp and Mould team on a fixed-term contract until May 2027. You will inspect properties, diagnose damp and mould issues, order repair works and coordinate with Homes colleagues and partner contractors to resolve disrepair while ensuring safety standards.

The role is home-based with travel across the South East and to national meetings; ideal candidates will have at least an HNC level in construction or related field,

Qualifications

• Educated to minimum HNC level or equivalent in construction, housing, management or property.
• Knowledge of building pathology and ability to diagnose damp and mould causes.
• Proven experience delivering a maintenance service.
• Good understanding of Decent Homes requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of building regulations and housing law.

Responsabilités

• Carry out inspections, virtual and in-person, to diagnose damp, mould and disrepair.
• Order works and track cases to completion.
• Collaborate with Homes teams and Partnering Contractors for specialist input.
• Track HHSRS actions to ensure homes are safe.
• Travel within the South East and attend national meetings as required.
