An established industry player is seeking a passionate Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Our client is offering a full-time employment opportunity for an enthusiastic Building Surveyor at the early/middle stage of their Chartered career.
Our client operates from their office in Devizes where you will be based, alongside the rest of the team (Architects, Building Surveyors, and support staff). Projects will take you to surrounding towns/cities within 1-2 hours from Devizes.
Our client provides Building Surveying services together with Architectural design, project work, cost consultancy, and contract administration. The candidate's ability to carry out a quantity surveying role is also desirable. The candidate will need to have a practical and inquisitive mindset regarding building-related matters.
The role would suit someone who is RICS Chartered and has approximately 5 years of post-qualification experience with working knowledge of surveys (Type 3), specification writing, tender documentation preparation, contract administration, cost control, and good client liaison skills.
The applicant is required to have a bachelor's degree in Building Surveying (or similar), Chartered status (RICS), a full UK driving licence, and their own car.
At this early stage, depending on the candidate's experience, the salary will be between £40,000 - £50,000 plus pension and the usual statutory obligations.
