Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a proactive Building Surveyor to support the surveying team with inspections, condition reports, measured surveys and defect investigations across commercial, residential and insurance-led projects.

You will prepare reports, schedules of work and specifications, and help design and oversee works under standard contracts while applying health and safety, party wall and building regulations guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level degree in surveying, engineering, architecture or planning.
• Experience in surveying, engineering, architectural or planning practice.
• Working knowledge of CDM 2015, party wall and building regs; deadlines-driven.

Responsibilities

• Support building surveying team with inspections and advice on design, construction, maintenance and refurbishment.
• Prepare reports, schedules of work and specifications.
• Help oversee works under standard contracts, applying health and safety, party wall, and building regulations guidance.
