Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems from concept through to completion. You will work on a variety of high-impact projects, collaborating with an international team committed to technical excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out feasibility studies, detailed design, and mechanical calculations
• Producing technical drawings and specifications
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in construction support, site supervision, and commissioning
• Delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions

Experience / Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a design engineer with consultancy or contractor-side experience, particularly in large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of utility infrastructure and building services
• Proficiency with IESVE, EDSL-TAS, AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS
• Solid knowledge of UK industry standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a desire to mentor others
