Job summary

Camden Facilities Management is seeking a seasoned Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer for a 6 Month Contract in Camden. The role focuses on plumbing and mechanical maintenance, including PPM, repairs, diagnostics and minor installations across schools, centres and corporate facilities.

A key element is mentoring a plumbing apprentice three days a week with strong emphasis on safe working practices. Requirements include NVQ3/City & Guilds in Plumbing, Mechanical/Building Services, extensive

Qualifications

• NVQ3/City & Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Extensive experience in commercial plumbing and mechanical maintenance
• Experience with heating systems, pumps, pressurisation, expansion vessels, calorifiers, booster sets and mechanical plant

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and repair issues in commercial plumbing, heating and mechanical installations
• Maintain equipment such as pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, calorifiers and booster sets
• Service domestic hot/cold water systems and CMS/ OEM equipment
• Mentor and supervise a plumbing apprentice for ~3 days a week
• Adhere to safety and risk assessments; update Camden CAFM with job details
